Central Appointments is available Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. and is closed on weekends and federal holidays.
To make, cancel, or reschedule an appointment, please call Central Appointment Line at (843) 794-6221. After hours, patients can call the TRICARE Nurse Advice Line at 1-800-TRICARE available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can get health care advice, make appointment with your Primary Care Manager, or get referrals for urgent care needs.

Effective 1 JUL 2022, Naval Health Clinic Charleston will temporarily close enrollment to the following beneficiary categories:
-New military retirees.
-New military retiree dependents.
This change is necessary due to upcoming staffing adjustments within the Medical Homeport Clinic.
There will be no change in enrollment for Retirees and Retiree family members that are currently enrolled to this facility.
During our clinic enrollment closure period for this beneficiary category, the Charleston Air Force Base, 628th Medical Group Clinic will have available enrollment access. New Retirees and Retiree family members can call the Humana Military TRICARE Enrollment Customer Service line at 1-800-444-58-445 to request PCM assignment to a provider at that facility.
Our Clinic command understands the implementation of changes such as these can be disruptive. We will do everything possible to minimize its impact. The staff at Naval Health Clinic Charleston are committed to providing all our beneficiaries safe and quality healthcare.
